Are you looking to add something extraordinary to your wedding?  Are you wanting to help design and personalize your wedding day with choices other than location, cake, and caterer? Do you have cherished memories of dancing with friends in high school and/or college or are you still making dance memories?

Do you sometimes find yourself swept up in a dance craze of younger siblings, nieces, nephews, or cousins? Are there people close to you who can’t talk without using their hands? Do your grandparents utter the words, “I remember when people used to dance, I mean really dance” ?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, (or even if you wish you did!), Dance the Divine Wedding is for you.  By working with veteran dance educator Tracy Vernon you can create an opportunity for special friends and relatives to perform a beautifully choreographed dance around you and your life partner on your special day adding to the magic of the moment. All ages, experience levels, and abilities are welcomed.

Choose from a menu of dance styles and traditions that feel right for your special day and would be a natural fit for those who want to demonstrate their blessings of your marriage through movement. You can invite young children, or a group of college friends, or an ensemble of elders, all of the above or even the entire congregation to join your ceremony and dance on behalf of your union.

Dance the Divine Wedding is also excited to offer First Dance.   For First Dance Tracy consults with the couple on what they desire for
their first expression of moving together witnessed by those assembled.  Working with either a playlist of possible songs or the exact piece of music the couple has chosen, Tracy creates a choreography with and for them that they feel excited for, confident about, and proud of.

"Having Tracy choreograph a dance for our wedding was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. It was grounding and exhilarating to be surrounded by our closest friends as they celebrated us through dance. The dancers added vitality, color, and a contagious sense of rhythm to the event. They got us all up dancing with the drums at the end of the ceremony, from young kids to a 90-year-old grandfather. Tracy's dance literally helped us embody our relationship to God on our sacred day."
